Blume’s Leardership
Melissa Gonzalez, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA
Dr. Gonzalez is a clinical psychologist and a doctoral-level board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D) with specialized experience working with individuals with pediatric feeding disorders, autism/autism spectrum disorder, and neurodivergence. She enjoys working closely with families and walking alongside them to leverage the child’s strengths and develop opportunities for continued growth and resilience.
Education and Clinical Training
Before moving to Chattanooga, TN, Dr. Gonzalez served on the faculty at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. She also held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University and completed her pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute.
